How-To Guides

Manage Services And Pricing Inputs

Use services to save reusable scope, pricing, timeline, and delivery assumptions.

Create A Service

  1. Open Services.
  2. Find Create service.
  3. Enter the service name and category.
  4. Choose a pricing model: Fixed fee, Hourly, Retainer, or Milestone.
  5. Enter base price, estimated cost, hours, and default timeline.
  6. Add a description.
  7. Add deliverables, one per line.
  8. Add exclusions if needed.
  9. Add terms notes.
  10. Optionally add one add-on with name, price, and estimated cost.
  11. Select Create service.

The service becomes available for future proposals while active.

Edit A Service

  1. Open Services.
  2. Select Edit on the service.
  3. Update the name, pricing model, base price, or timeline.
  4. Select Save service.

The service detail page shows deliverables and exclusions as read-only reference text.

Duplicate A Service

Use Duplicate from the services list or service detail page. Duplication is useful when a new service is close to an existing package.

Archive Or Restore A Service

  • Use Archive to remove an active service from normal reuse.
  • Use Restore to return an archived service to active status.

Archived services are shown with archived state in the service catalog and are not meant to appear in new proposal selection lists.

Set The Target Margin

  1. Open Pricing Rules.
  2. Enter the workspace target margin.
  3. Select Save pricing rules.

ScopePilot compares proposal gross margin against this target before send.

You can also update target margin from Settings.
