Proposal Status Reference
ScopePilot checks that a proposal has:Proposal Statuses
| Status | Meaning | Typical next action |
|---|---|---|
draft | The proposal is being prepared and has not been sent. | Preview and send |
sent | The proposal link has been sent to the client. | Confirm delivery or wait for activity |
viewed | The client proposal link has been opened. | Follow up |
approved | The client approved the proposal version. | Prepare handoff or create a revision |
expired | The proposal passed its expiry date. | Revise proposal |
archived | The proposal was removed from active work. | Restore by duplicating or revising when appropriate |
Change Order Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
draft | The change order has been created but not sent. |
sent | The change order link has been sent. |
viewed | The client has opened the change order. |
approved | The client approved the change order. |
declined | The change order was declined. |
archived | The change order was removed from active work. |
Comment Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
open | The client question or comment still needs attention. |
answered | A response has been provided. |
resolved | The issue is closed. |
archived | The comment is no longer active. |
Readiness Checks Before Sending
- Client selected
- Recipient email added
- At least one service added
- Price confirmed
- Margin above target or a dismissed low-margin warning
- Client-facing summary completed
- Expiry date set
